The TV Collective - Pushing Diversity in TV

The TV Collective is a passionate not for profit organisation who are dedicated to promoting diversity and the integration of under-represented groups of people within the TV industry. They really do support ‘the people’ to gain employment, current news and provides a network of like-minded people to connect with. They have close links to the BBC, Channel 4 and the Cultural Diversity Network in order to build tight relations with them and their members. The TV Collectives Facebook group has over 500 members and provides them with exclusive job/career opportunities for all aspects of TV, as well as a forum to collaborate. Simone Pennant is the creator of the collective and is frequently sending updates through the social networking sites to eager members. Simone is pushing for equal opportunities for ethic minorities, disabled individuals and the working class.
